Description
Guaviyu is a fruit native to South America, producing small but sweet and tasty fruits which are similar in flavour to a longan. They have a slightly piney/citrus taste.
It’s a great fruit to snack on and as a bonus they are incredible looking trees, which flush out deep red growth and have pointy, sharp edged leaves.
Self-fertile, so great on their own or an amazing hedge. As a bonus they seem to be incredibly cold tolerant and don’t look too fussed over winter in Auckland.
These plants are cutting-grown from a fruiting tree and either have flowers currently or should do soon. We’ll have smaller plants available later in the year.
