Cherimoya, also locally known as the custard apple, is a delicious fruit which is creamy and sweet, with flavours generally ranging from banana to pineapple. They grow well in any frost-free locations with decent drainage and are generally quite hardy.
This plant has been grafted with the ‘White’ variety. It produces a large fruit with a low amount of seeds. It tastes more mild and less sweet than many other varieties, so is a great choice if you find some too rich/sweet and enjoy a better seed to pulp ratio.
These plants have been flowering already but we recommend you pull fruit off for the next couple years to allow the tree to establish. They are self-fertile, so you only need one but they are so good that you might want more.
