This listing is for a grafted american pawpaw (actual plant pictured). It has been grafted from a mature fruiting tree, which produces extra large, tasty fruit (pictured). Check out my other listings for another variety of grafted pawpaw.

Grafting speeds up the time to fruiting and ensures good quality fruit. We also have seedlings available grown from KSU and Peterson selections in our other listings.

***Two plants are required for pollination. Single plants usually do not produce well. Any two seedlings or different grafted varieties will work.***

– Deciduous and cold hardy, enjoys a cold winter and a warm summer. Known to fruit in both the North and South Island, including the Far North where winters are more mild.
– Prefers shade conditions initially but will eventually be more productive in full-sun.
– Should fruit in another 3 years, by which they will hopefully be a decent size!
