Jackfruit – Kyogle Gold Seedling

Description

This tree is grown from seed of a Kyogle Gold variety from Australia.

• Produces medium-sized fruit
• Soft flesh type (not dry/crunchy)
• Bubblegum flavour
• Golden coloured
• Plants are approximately 30-40cm above the soil in PB5 or pots.

Jackfruit do not always grow true from seed but are generally very close. Jackfruit requires a frost-free and well-draining location, whether that be in the ground in the North Island or in a container anywhere that is protected from frosts and excess rain.
